Andrew Thornton

Andrew is clearly a master of his craft and rides on a regular basis for us. He schools for us on a weekly basis. His first winner was Wrekin Hill at Sedgefield in 1991. Andrew has ridden nearly 800 winners in his career and his ambition is to ride 1000 winners. Andrew lives locally with his wife Claire.

His achievements include riding 2 winners with broken reins, one of which was Kingscliff at Ascot and winning the Gold Cup on Cool Dawn.
